Quilting Education and Experience
I am a self-taught quilter. My first quilt, completed in 1982, was a traditional hand-quilted king size bed quilt. Since 2008 I have taken many textile fiber art classes through the Champlain Valley Quilt Guild (CVQG), the Vermont Quilt Festival (VQF) and on-line classes. I quilt on a Viking Epic and a Handi-Quilter Avante long-arm. In addition to making wall art quilts, I volunteer with the CVQG Community Quilts, the Vermont Quilt Festival, and the Studio Art Quilt Associates.
